Before Y2K, I was the only author saying that nothing was going to happen during the Y2K Rollover, which gave me a unique opportunity to do promotion for this book. Thankfully, I was right!

This book is another short story anthology, this time centered around an alien race named the Arrissia who have been visiting Earth for some time. I was the editor for this collection.

Simply put, this is one of my favorite things that I've ever done. It is a novel of humorous fiction, about life in the small town of Cut Plug, Texas, and the lovable character of Uncle Bubba.

This book was a lot of fun to research and write! It is a guide to haunted places in North Texas, where I'll take you to B&B's, restaurants, hotels, theaters, and more!

Haunted Encounters: Real-Life Stories of Supernatural Encounters
(2003)
This is the first book in a series by Atriad Press, where I have a position as Senior Editor. I also have a story in this book as well. It's one of the most exciting projects that I've been associated with.

Ghosts of East Texas
and the Pineywoods
(2004)
East Texas is said to be one of the most haunted areas in the state - this book takes a look at many of the haunted locations that you'll find in the Pineywoods. Lots of fun places to visit!

Haunted Encounters: Personal Stories of Departed Pets
(2004)
Not only was I an editor on this book, I also got to include a story about my basset hound Fred that we lost over a decade ago. Fred has come back to visit a few times, and he's always a welcome sight. This is one of the most sensitive and caring books that I've ever read - it's a must-read for pet lovers.

Haunted Encounters: Ghost Stories from Around the World
(2004)
I was an editor on this book, and found these stories from all over the world to be fascinating. It's amazing how the supernatural phenomenon is active all over the world.

A Ghost in My Suitcase
(2005)
I love to travel, and when I do, I love to seek out haunted B&B's, inns, restaurants, pubs, etc. This book is going to be a fun travel guide to wonderful places all over the country, each with a ghost story to tell!

Haunted Encounters: Departed Family and Friends
(2005)
This book is another one of my editing projects, and is an anthology of folks who have ghost stories about friends and relatives. Many of the stories are very touching, and I shed more than a few tears while putting the book together.

Angels of Oakwood
(2006)
Angels of Oakwood: Jefferson's Historic Cemetery is a non-fiction book on the historic old Oakwood Cemetery at Jefferson, Texas. It has a history of people buried there, samples of the tombstone art and statuary, and the fascinating ironwork located at Oakwood.

Ghostly Tails From America's Jails
(2006)
I have two chapters in this anthology, and I am fortunate enough to be listed among some of the premier paranormal writers of the day, including Olyve Hallmark Abbott, Joan Upton Hall, and Troy Taylor, to name a few. This was a fun project!

23 - A Country Preacher, His Grandson, and a Devotional That Will Change Your Life
(2008)
My granddad was a country preacher, and he once wrote a book on the 23rd Psalm. It was never traditionally published, so I added stories from his life to his theology on the passage, and this book was the result. For me, it's one of the most important things that I've ever done.

Tami and I love Natchez, and has many stories from its past and present that I wanted to tell. The book also gave me many excuses to keep going back for research!

Nights of Blood 2: More Tales of the Vampire
(2009)
A sequel to the 2002 vampire anthology, it contains not only my favorite work of horror that I've done, but probably my favorite short story I've written, bar none - "Tales of the Vampire."

No Hope! The Story of the Great Red River Raft
(2009)
A non-fiction, historical look at the logjam that shaped the region of northeast Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana. "The Raft," as it was known, took years and the efforts of many men to tame. This was a fascinating story to research and write.

Dead Set: A Zombie Anthology
(2010)
I had a short story included in the horror anthology that focuses on the world in the throws of a zombie apocolypse. It was an interesting project for me, since "Night of the Living Dead" is the only movie to give me nightmares.
